QuartzBio’s tech-enabled data science solutions are presented to the market through biomarker data management (BDM), virtual sample inventory management (SIM), and translational informatics and computational biology (TICB) service lines. What your day to day will look like:

  • Developing extensive familiarity with QuartzBio solutions resulting in detailed understanding how these solutions can address specific customer needs       
  • Sourcing new business using existing and new lead resources including building a robust net new pipeline 
  • Mapping out key individuals and establish relationships at target companies
  • Developing tactical plans; advancing, tracking, and managing new business opportunities
  • Ensuring successful meetings by setting meetings and demos, and coordinating with internal teams
  • Actively participating in near and long term QuartzBio commercialization planning with senior leadership 
  • Collaborating with Precision’s existing sales teams in adjacent businesses to find identify and advance new business opportunities 
  • Educating outside partners and prospective clients about QuartzBio’s innovative solutions
  • Engaging with potential customers at industry meetings and scientific conferences
Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of sales experience in life sciences, ideally with experience in the clinical space or health care software or technology-enabled services space or;
  • Master’s Degree or higher with research experience, and 2 years life science sales experience
Other Required:
  • Proven track record building and maintaining positive relationships with complex organizations in the biotech or pharma industries
  • Worked effectively with minimal direction; a self-motivated and self-directed individual who enjoys a challenging, relatively unstructured and dynamic work environment
  • Met or exceeded targets for all assigned business objectives
  • Strong professional with proven ability to network at all levels within the customer organizations and in the broader marketplace
  • Advanced presentation skills, business sense and strong administrative skills
  • Advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly explain complex concepts at a level appropriate to the audience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license allowing you to drive in the state(s) you drive in. Able to travel both domestically and internationally including overnight stays
  • Read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
Preferred:
  • Master’s Degree or greater in the Life Sciences
  • Experience in a research position
  • Demonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting
  • Experience within complex selling environments including tech-enabled data sciences, translational medicine, or biomarker discovery research, or bioinformatics
  • Track record of successive growing levels of responsibility
